Kiran Chandra Roy performs at IGCC

Well-known folk singer Kiran Chandra Roy recently performed at a musical soiree at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in the city.
The singer held the audience spellbound with songs like “Jar Ja Dharmo Tar Anugoto Pran”, “Mohasindhur Opar Theke”, “Anugoto Jone Keno Koro Eto Probonchona”, “Ke Jach Re Bhatir Gaan Gaiya”, “Subol Re Bolo Bolo Bolo Tai”, “Kobe Sadhu Chorono Dhuli”, “Dudiner Duniaye Re Musaphir”, “Jante Chai Doyal Tamar Naam Ta Ki”, “Ki Chomotkar Phul Go Guru”, “Majhi Baiya Jao Re”, “Bhalo Aachi Bhalo Theko' and “Neem Teeta Nishindha Teeta” at the programme.
The singer was accompanied by Iftekhar Hossain Sohel on keyboard, Md Saeed Hasan Babu on flute, Ratan Kumar Roy on dotara, Dipak Kumar Das on tabla, Doshorat Das on dhol and Alamgir Hossain on octopad at the solo musical soiree.
IGCC, in association with Asian Paints, IRCON and Marico Bangladesh, organised the event as part of its regular cultural programmes.
