Galleri Kaya in Uttara has organised a group art exhibition titled “Water Rhymes-2”, featuring the works of senior and emerging artists of the country. The exhibition was inaugurated yesterday (April 26). Preeminent artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest.
The participating artists are Hamiduzzaman Khan, Alokesh Ghosh, Jamal Ahmed, Kazi Rakib, Ranjit Das, Shishir Bhattacharjee, Goutam Chakraborty, Kamaluddin, Shohag Parvez and Mohammad Shahanoor Mamun. Artists have used watercolour and acrylic in their works.
The artists highlight diverse subjects like panoramic beauty, riverine life, rural woman, horse, elephant, fish, birds, hilly-mountain areas, Sundarban, sea beach, boat repairing, semi-urban streets, eye-soothing greenery and varied mysterious moments of nature.
The exhibition will continue till May 7.
