Meena Bazar organised their 5th annual children's art competition -- “Ichche Anko” on March 7 at Abahani Field in the capital. “Kolponar Bangladesh” was the topic of the competition, where kids in two groups, aged from 6-15 years participated in the competition. Approximately 5000 kids took part in the event in both groups and shared their idea about Bangladesh, through their drawings.
Renowned artists Hashem Khan, Rafiqun Nabi, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Subir Chowdhury and Abul Barq Alvi were present at the event to inspire kids and judged their paintings. Chief Operating Officer of Meena Bazar Shaheen Khan along with high-ups of Gemcon Group and Meena Bazar were also present. A total of 120 winners were selected by the judges -- an exhibition of these selected paintings will be held from April 5 to 7 at Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts. The award giving ceremony of this competition will be held on April 5.
The event was sponsored by Horlicks.
