Bangladesh to make waves SAARC Film Festival

Four Bangladeshi films, including Tanvir Mokammel's “Jibondhuli” are to be screened at the SAARC Film Festival to be held in Colombo later this month.
 Besides “Jibondhuli”, the other Bangladeshi films to be shown at the Festival are Shahnaz Cacoly's “Uttorer Sur” (that won the 2012 National Film Award recently) and two short films -- Fakhrul Arefin's “Al Badr” and Department of Film and Publication-produced documentary, “Loknayak Kangal Harinath”.
The six-day SAARC Film Festival begins today in Colombo where films from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also be showcased.
