Crude bombs hurled at JSD leader’s Ctg house
Miscreants hurled two crude bombs at the village home of Moyeen Uddin Khan Badal, a lawmaker from Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), in Boalkhali upazila of Chittagong early today.
Badal was not at home when the attack was made at his Saroatoli house around 2:30am, reports our Chittagong correspondent.
Window glasses and a wall of the house were damaged following the attack but no one was hurt, said Md Shamim Hossain, assistant superintendent of police in Chittagong.
Two persons on a motorcycle entered inside the boundary of the house and hurled the bombs, the police official said.
In an outrageous remark, Badal on January 13 suggested law enforcers to shoot BNP-Jamaat activists if they did not stop ambush attacks.
Badal was talking to reporters after a meeting of the Awami League-led 14-party alliance at the Dhanmondi office of AL chief Sheikh Hasina.
