SSC examinee gives birth at centre
Only great determination can set such an example.
After giving birth to a child at Sarishabari Reazuddin Talukdar High School Exam Centre, an SSC examinee continued taking her mathematics examination on Sunday.
Expectant mother Swarnali, daughter of Jahurul Islam of Bogarpar village in Sarishabari upazila, sat for her SSC exam from Bogarpar High School on February 2.
Swarnali did not worry about her situation, instead, after giving birth to a baby boy she took merely 10 minutes to return to the examination hall, said Wajeda Parvin, secretary of the examination centre.
Swarnali, with great mental strength, started her general mathematics exam around 10.00am on Sunday.
After 30 minutes, she felt severe labour pain and was shifted immediately to another room where she gave birth to male child normally, said Wajeda, who provided all sorts of assistance and facilities for the purpose.
After witnessing a sweet smile of the newborn, she regained her energy, sat for the exam and completed that successfully, Wajeda added.
