“I'm excited to let you know that me and Dr David Hanson will participate in this year's Digital World 2017 in Dhaka. I cannot wait to be a part of this great event. Thank you to ICT Division Bangladesh government and Islami Bank Bangladesh to create this opportunity for us. Hope to see you all there. Dhonnobaad," said a press release of ICT Division on Thursday.

Sophia, the human like robot, will meet Bangladeshi people on the first day of Digital World exhibition on December 6 from 2:30 pm to 4 pm at Banganandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.

The four-day expo will start on December 6 and conclude on December 9

Sophia was given Saudi citizenship earlier this year, making her the first robot ever to get such a status from a country.
