Primary terminal exams begin Nov 20
The primary and ebtedayee terminal examinations will begin across the country on November 20.
The examinations are scheduled to end on November 27 while the results are likely to be published in between December 27 and 29.
The decisions were taken at a meeting of the 'National Steering Committee on Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal Examinations 2016' held at the Primary and Mass Education Ministry today.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman presided over the meeting.
The minister said the examinations will be held every day from 11:00am to 1:30pm on the scheduled day.
Some 31,25,000 students from schools and 3,20,000 from madrasas will take part in the examinations, he said.
The examination on English will be held on the first day on November 20.
Besides, Bangla examination will be held on November 21, Bangladesh and Global Studies on November 22, Elementary Science and Arabic on November 23 and Religion and Moral Education and Quran and Tajweed and Aqaid and Fiqha on November 24 and Mathematics on November 27.
