No need for talks among parties: Quader
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said that there is no need for holding dialogue among political parties as the president initiated the process.

“There’s no question to hold talks among parties as the president himself has sit with the representatives from different political parties, and it’s under a process now,” he said, replying to a reporter’s query on BNP’s call for dialogue among political parties.
Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, made the remarks at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority office in Dhaka’s Mirpur.

Earlier on January 13, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, at a press conference, urged the prime minister to hold dialogue with different political parties to hold the polls in a credible and inclusive manner.
PM Sheikh Hasina, on the next day, also turned down any possibility of holding a dialogue with BNP ahead of the 11th national election, slated for 2019.
