‘Probe names in Paradise paper leak’
Independent lawmaker Rustam Ali Farazi today urged the government to investigate the names of businessmen that came out in the Paradise paper leak.
“The government should investigate the names revealed in the Paradise paper scam,” Rustam Ali Farazi told the parliament taking the floor on a point of order.
Referring to media reports, he said some 21 businessmen and organisations invested offshore companies unlawfully taking the advantage of tax-free investment.

“The government should make public the names for the interest of the nation,” he said asking Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith to make the names public.
“Who, how and what amount of money had been laundered? Was it black or white money? We want to know detail information in this regard,” he said.
