Govt to build statue to show hatred to Pakistani collaborators
The government has a plan to build a statue to show hatred towards the collaborators of Pakistani occupation army, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq said today.
“We have a plan to build a hate statue to show hatred towards Razakars, Al-Badrs, Al-Shams and other collaborators of the Pakistani Army, who conducted atrocities during our Liberation War,” he told the parliament in reply to lawmakers’ queries.
In a scripted answer, he also said the nation would never forget the hatred brutality carried out by the Pakistani occupation army and its local collaborators.
“Government is relentlessly working to present true history before the new generation to imbue the spirit of the Liberation War among them,” Huq also said.
The Pakistani occupation Army and its local collaborators committed one of the history’s worst genocides in Bangladesh by killing countless unarmed Bengalis during the nine months of War of the Independence.
