Google Doodle celebrates Pahela Baishakh
Search engine giant Google is celebrating Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bengali New Year 1424, with a special doodle featuring the colourful Mongol Shovajatra, the procession of good wishes.
The Doodle logo featured the procession with colourful banners in the shape of an owl, tiger and the sun.
Doodles are the fun, surprising, and sometimes spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists.
Although each animal has its own symbolic meaning, collectively they are said to inspire courage and promote peace, according to Google.
