Corruption destroying dream of new generation: ACC chairman
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood said today corruption has been destroying the dream of the future generation.
"We are hopeful. We have a dream to build a country fit for future generations' living with preventing the corruption," he said while addressing as the chief guest a workshop titled "Responsibility of the young generation in preventing corruption".
Describing the youths as the future leaders of the country, he said, "The young generation should change themselves (their mindset towards corruption) as no outsiders can bring changes among them."
Debate for Democracy arranged the workshop at ACC headquarters at Segunbagicha here this morning. Among others, ACC commissioners Dr Nasiruddin Ahmed, and AFM Aminul Islam, Secretary Abu Md Mostofa Kamal, Debate for Democracy Chairman Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron were present on the occasion.
