As she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, she died of excessive blood loss. But before her death, she told police that her husband Khan Firobin alias Robin attacked her.
Her family had alleged the same and a murder suit was filed against Robin a day after the incident.
After the incident, her friends of Eden College had demonstrated near Jatiya Press Club demanding the highest punishment – death – for the killer Robin.
