Anjuman Mufidul to bury all militants
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said all the bodies of the militants killed in separate joint forces raids will be given to Anjuman Mufidul Islam, a social welfare organisation, for burial as unclaimed bodies.
On September 22, five dead Gulshan café attackers were buried at Jurain graveyard in Dhaka as nobody claimed their bodies, the minister said.
“We will hand over rest of the bodies to Anjuman Mufidul Islam as their families are not willing to receive them,” Kamal said while talking to reports at his ministry office in Dhaka.
The authorities of Dhaka Medical College Hospital called upon the home minister to take necessary steps to shift the bodies from the morgue of the hospital, the home minister said.
Ban on over stay at Secretariat based on intelligence report
About the home ministry’s ban on all employees to over stay in the Secretariat after office hours, Kamal said, “We have taken the decision based on the intelligence report.”
However, the ban will not be applicable for the ministers, secretaries and concerned officials, he also said.
