2 Indian boys sent back home
Two Indian teenage boys, who were sentenced for one year's imprisonment for illegally entering Bangladesh, were sent back to their country yesterday. The Bangladesh immigration police handed over Apurba, 13, and Aminul Islam, 13, both residents of North 24 Paraganas district in the Indian state of Pashchimbanga, to Indian immigration police at Benapole border. Officer-in-Charge Iqbal Hossain of Benapole Immigration Police said the two boys entered into Bangladesh territory without valid documents a year back. Police later arrested them from Sonadanga area in Khulna.
