So she went there to have a chat! Looks like the new foreign minister is only getting meetings and chats, nothing substantial. Who is paying for these joyrides?

“Women workers welcome” (Oct. 27, 2014)
Abdullah Al Fahad
Women domestic workers go through inhuman exploitation, beating, rape, etc in UAE. Before sending more women there, make sure their safety is ensured.
FM Sajid Bin Hossain
As long as UAE employers are able to recruit female workers from developing countries on a "kafala"/"sponsorship" based system, no amount of foreign liaison or fancy promising MoUs will be enough to deter them from treating the women no better than slaves, which is already the case. Female workers are often promised 1000 to1200 dirhams per month; but they are never paid more than 600-850 dirham. The workers can either accept that or come back to their home country.

The recent findings on the treatment of BD workers in the Gulf countries that have become news are alarming! The security and dignity of our female workers must be ensured and monitored. BD embassies/consulates in the Arab countries need to be more active, knowledgeable and helpful.
