Cold wave sweeping north
Rajshahi recorded the lowest temperature of 6.7 degrees Celsius today under the influence of a cold wave sweeping through the northern part of the country.
The cold wave which covers the northern districts for few days will linger for next one or two days, Kamrul Hasan, a duty officer at Bangladesh Meteorological Department told The Daily Star Online.
Meanwhile, the fog in the capital will persist, but might wear off as the day progresses for the next few days, he said. “Weather is expected to be sunny for a couple of days.”
In Dhaka, today’s temperature is 13.4 degree Celsius.
