White paper on 'govt graft' to be published
BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed yesterday said a white paper on corruption of the incumbent government will be published if his party is voted to power.
“This government is not the last one, and it will have to go someday. After that, a white paper on corruption being committed during its tenure will be published,” he told a discussion at Jatiya Press Club.
He also said names of ministers, lawmakers and businessmen backed by the ruling party will be included in the white paper with detailed description of their corruptions. “They must be put on trial on that day.”
The former law minister said names of the masterminds of share market, hallmark, destiny scam, Bangladesh Bank heist and all other scams that took place in the last 10 years will be published too.
Moudud alleged that big projects are being implemented by the government with big corruption, commission and bribery.
He also alleged that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was convicted for a political reason, and the government is plotting to delay her bail and prolong her stay in jail.
