Western Marine to build 2 vessels for Indian company
Western Marine Shipyard initiated a construction of two cargo vessels for Indian conglomerate, Jindal Group, through a keel-laying ceremony at the shipyard in Patiya upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
The shipyard signed a contract with Jindal Steel Works, a subsidiary of Jindal group, for building six 8,000 DWT cargo vessels at a cost of Tk 480 million each on March 2015 in Mumbai, says a press release.
