Two women found murdered in capital
A woman was found murdered in her Shahid Nagar house in the capital's Lalbagh yesterday evening.
There were injury marks on the throat, head and other parts of the body of Nurunnahar Nuni, 25, who was a mother of two children, said police.
They also found a blood-stained cleaver in the tin-roofed house, said Ibrahim Khan, deputy commissioner of Lalbagh Division of Dhaka Metropolitan of Police. After the incident, Nuni's husband Nure Alam fled home taking his two children, he said.
Meanwhile, the decapitated body of an unidentified young woman was found in a sack beside Beribandh in the capital's Airport area yesterday. Her hands and legs were tied up, said Airport Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nur-e-Azam Mia.
