Two held over 3yr-old Manik murder in Dhaka
The Rapid Action Battalion yesterday arrested two persons in Dhaka in connection with the killing of three-year-old Manik a month and a half ago in Savar.
Mohammad Akram, 60, and Bhashani alias Raju, 30, are two of the accused in the case filed with Savar Police Station on July 7, says a press release.
Akram was held in Savar's Hemayetpur and based on his information Raju was arrested in the capital's Shyamoli, said Rab-4 officials at a press conference at its headquarters.
Manik's father Shafiqul Islam filed a complaint with Rab-4 Nabinagar camp on July 1 alleging that his son was abducted near his Baherchar home in Savar on June 30. Later, he filed the case accusing six persons saying that they abducted his son over land dispute.
