Turkey condoles deaths in hills
The Turkish government has expressed condolence over the deaths of Bangladeshi citizens caused by landslides in hill districts, said a press release of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We learned with sorrow that mud slides that took place in Bangladesh claimed the lives of at least 130 people. We extend our sincere condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives, to the people and government of Bangladesh and wish speedy recovery to the injured,” said the press release.
