Tribunal orders ads for six Netrakona fugitives
The International Crimes Tribunal-1 yesterday ordered the authorities concerned to publish ads in two national dailies, asking five war crimes fugitives of Netrakona to appear before it within seven days of publication of the ads.
They are Sheikh Abdul Majid alias Majid Maulana, 66, Abdul Khaleque Talukder, 67, Kabir Khan, 70, Salam Begh, 68, and Nuruddin alias Raddin, 70.
Abdur Rahman, 70, another accused,is in jail.
The prosecution on May 22 pressed seven charges against the Razakar suspects of Purbadhala upazila for crimes they allegedly committed during the 1971 Liberation War.
