The survey for selecting the site to construct Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib International Airport will be finalised in this month, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said today.
He came up with the information while addressing deputy commissioners (DCs) on the second day of a three-day conference of DCs in Dhaka this morning.

The government last year preliminarily selected three possible sites, two of which are in districts close to Dhaka and the other inside Dhaka district.
A Tk-120-crore deal was signed with a Japanese firm to conduct feasibility studies, selecting the site and making a master plan for the Bangabandhu airport.
