Salahuddin's wife again seeks Hasina's intervention to locate husband
Hasina Ahmed, wife of BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed, yesterday again sought intervention of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to locate her husband who disappeared on March 11 from Uttara in the capital.
Her request yesterday came 53 days after the BNP joint secretary general was allegedly detained by detectives from his relative's residence.
Hasina Ahmed, also a former BNP lawmaker of Cox's Bazar, was talking to journalists at her Gulshan residence.
Earlier, a BNP delegation led by the party's international affairs secretary Asaduzzaman Khan Ripon visited Hasina Ahmed to console her.
In March, Hasina submitted two memorandums to Sheikh Hasina seeking her intervention to trace Salahuddin.
On March 10, some 20 to 30 people picked the BNP leader up from a house at Uttara introducing themselves as law enforcers, particularly as Detective Branch of police personnel.
