Road crashes kill four in capital
Four people were killed in separate road accidents in the capital yesterday, said police at DMCH camp.
In Shanir Akhra, motorcyclist Krishna Chakrabarty, 38, was killed after being hit by a bus in the afternoon.
In Mirpur, a truck hit college student Nabil Khan, 18, while he was on his way home in the evening. He was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Meanwhile, garment worker Mohammad Masud, 26, died after a bus knocked him down while he was crossing the road in Nabisco area.
Yet another incident, day labourer Zahur Ali Matubbar was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Old Dhaka's Patuatuli.
