Prof Sultana Razia made OPCW scientific advisory board member
Prof Syeda Sultana Razia of the chemical engineering department at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has been appointed as a member of the scientific advisory board of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for a three-year term, effective from January 1, 2018.
Director-General of the OPCW Ahmet Üzümcü announced this at the ongoing 86th session of the Executive Council of the OPCW in The Hague, says an ISPR press release. Syeda Sultana Razia is the first Bangladeshi national appointed as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the OPCW since its inception in 1998.
