Practical lesson on science to be held on Jan 11in Kishoreganj to break Guinness record
Bangladesh is going to break the Guinness World Records by holding the “largest ever” practical lesson on science and ICT on the Kuliarchar thana field in Kishoreganj on January 11.
More than 3,200 students of class V to VII from different schools of Kuliarchar upazila will take part in the class organised by the upazila administration.
It will be included in the Guinness World Records if done successfully, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Dr Urme Binte Salam told a press conference in the conference room of the upazila parishad.
Around four and a half months ago, 2,900 students of Brisbane in Australia's Queensland became the part of Guinness World Records after being taught on science at a time, she said.
Prof Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, also a popular writer, may attend as a resource person at the programme, which will be held between 11:00am and 12:30pm.
State Minister for Science and Technology Yeafesh Osman is, among others, expected to attend it.
