No militant will be spared: Home minister
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today warned that none of the militants will be spared.
“I always said that militants are under the watch of our law enforcing agencies,” the home boss told reporters at his Dhanmondi residence this morning while briefing about today’s ‘shootout’ that left two militants--Nurul Islam Marzan and Saddam--killed.
The militants are already cornered due to the recent raids at militant hideouts across the country, he said adding that “Marzan was one of the most wanted criminals.”
“Law enforcers were looking for the two militants for long. Saddam was involved in almost all the recent murders in Northern part of the country and Marzan was one of the masterminds of all these militant attacks,” the minister said.
There will be no place for the militants in Bangladesh, he further said.
When asked about the law and order situation in the country, the minister said the situation is under our control and the militants and criminals are not getting any shelter from the people.
