Dhaka Board halts HSC form fill-up process
Dhaka Education Board has postponed the process of form fill-up for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination 2021, considering the surge in Covid-19 cases.
The board, in an emergency circular yesterday noon, said that they would announce the schedule of form-fill up later.
The board earlier asked all colleges to begin the form fill-up process online from June 29. Its last date was July 11.
The board also said that no test exams will be held this time and the college authorities are instructed not to collect any fees in this regard.
On March 17 last year, the government closed all educational institutions to contain the spread of coronavirus. It led to cancellation of exams and left academic calendars in disarray.
Latest, the closure was extended until June 30.
Usually, HSC examinations take place in April, but the government could not hold the exams in 2020 due to Covid-19. And HSC examinees were promoted based on two previous public exams last year.
