Int'l IT conference begins at UAP
A three-day conference titled "International Conference on Computer and Information Technology 2017" began at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) yesterday.
The department of computer science and engineering of UAP hosted the conference for idea and knowledge sharing on computer and technology among academics worldwide, said a press release.
The conference, which will feature several sessions, was inaugurated by Abdul Matin Patwari, professor emeritus and former vice chancellor of UAP.
On the closing day, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan is expected to be present as chief guest, while Prof Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury, vice chancellor of UAP, will preside over. The authors of best research papers will also be awarded on that day.
