EATL Prothom Alo Apps Contest starts
The EATL Prothom Alo Apps Contest-2016 began for the fourth time at The Westin Dhaka on Tuesday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated the programme, where State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Country Director of World Bank for Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, South Asia Qimiao Fan, Canadian High Commissioner Benoît-Pierre Laramée, EATL Managing Director MA Mubin Khan and Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman were present. The World Bank is the lead sponsor, with support of the Canadian government. The contest will continue for seven months. Students from different universities can submit their ideas in team by August 31 through www.eatlapps.com/contest 2016.
