Doa mahfil for Siddiqur Rahman

A doa mahfil for eminent journalist and columnist Siddiqur Rahman will be held after the Asr prayers on Jan 12, Friday at his residence in Dhanmondi, said a press release.

He passed away on 4 Jan at the age of 83, suffering from old-age complications.

He left two sons, two daughters and grandchildren to mourn his death.

Siddiqur worked at the Islamic Research Institute in Karachi and was a Joint Editor of the monthly magazine 'Udayan'.

He was buried at his birth place at Aqua Madrassa Quarters in Mymensingh.
