'Disabled need quality education'
Ensuring quality education for the differently able people will help them play their part in the development of society, speakers told a seminar on Wednesday.
They also said inclusion of disability-related issues in the textbook would encourage a change in people’s mindset. The seminar was organised by Disabled Child Foundation (DCF) at Jatiya Press Club, said a release.
M Abdul Mannan, state minister for planning; Motahar Hossain, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on primary and mass education, and DCF founder and executive director Nasrin Jahan spoke at the seminar, among others.
