CU suspends 5 BCL men for breaching discipline
The Chittagong University (CU) authorities suspended six activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) CU unit for six months for breaching discipline on the campus.
Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury yesterday said, Irfatul Alam Pitu, history student, and Pias Sarkar, statistics student, were suspended for posting derogatory and provocative status on Facebook.
Meanwhile, English student Mahmudul Hasan Rupak, law student Mohammad Khabir and student of Institute of Education and Research Nasir Uddin Mishu, all supporters of BCL CU unit general secretary, were suspended for hacking its fellow activist Mofazzal Haider Hossain, follower of CU unit's president, before Shahjalal Hall on February 18.
