Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday said the country is heading towards danger due to a conflicting behaviour of Awami League and BNP.
He said this while talking to reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. After a five-day personal visit to India, Ershad, also a special envoy to the prime minister, returned home yesterday.
He claimed that the Indian political leaders would stand beside Jatiya Party in the next election. Ershad also claimed that he would present a peaceful and conflict-free Bangladesh if voted to power.
JP gathered a huge number of people at the airport to receive its chief. As a result, commuters faced sufferings since huge tailbacks were created on both sides of the roads surrounding airport, Uttara, Banani and Gulshan areas.
Torrential rain also added to their sufferings.
