Cops identifying men linked to yesterday’s sexual harassment on streets: Home minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today said that law enforcers will take action against those who sexually harassed women on streets in Dhaka yesterday.

The law enforcers are examining different video footages and identifying those involve with the harassments, the home minister told journalists at Cirdap auditorium in Dhaka.

Appropriate measures will be taken against them, he said.

Law enforcers have already obtained the video footages related to the incidents, he said adding that the media will be informed about the identities of the perpetrators.

On social media, at least seven women alleged sexual harassment on roads during the Awami League's rally yesterday.
