Conspiracy: Hizb-ut Tahrir chief, 5 others indicted

Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Metropolitan Session Judges Court in Dhaka passed the order after reading out the charges before Mohiuddin and three others.

The court fixed October 24 for starting the trial of the case.
Mohiuddin, also a teacher of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University, and the three are now on bail while two others Towhidul Islam and Tanvir Ahmed fled after getting bail from the High Court.
According to the case statement, a group of Hizb-ut Tahrir leaders and activists including Mohiuddin held a meeting against the government at sector-2 in Uttara on April 18, 2010.
He was arrested on the same day. Later police filed a case under anti-terrorism act with Uttara Model Police Station.
Detective Branch of police Inspector Nurul Amin pressed charges on February 9, 2013.
