BNP's Joynal Abedin get bail
The High Court yesterday granted ad-interim bail to BNP leader Joynal Abdin Farooque in four criminal cases.
The court also issued four rules asking the government to explain in four weeks as to why Farooque should not be granted regular bail in the cases.
The High Court bench of Justice Md Miftah Uddin Choudhury and Justice ANM Bashir Ullah came up with the order and rule after hearing four separate petitions filed by Joynal Abdin Farooque seeking bail in the cases.
The four separate cases were filed against Farooque and others with Paltan Police Station in 2015 on charge of vandalism and arson attacks.
