Bangladesh, Mexico sign MoU to boost relations
Bangladesh and Mexico have agreed to start a dialogue to expand bilateral relations including strengthening trade and commerce.
The two countries signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) to that effect.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, who is now on a visit to Mexico, and Mexican Foreign Minister José Antonio Meade Kuribreña signed the MoU on Wednesday, said a foreign ministry press release.
Earlier in the day, the Bangladesh state minister had a breakfast meeting with presidents and director generals of leading apparel manufacturing companies of Mexico. The entrepreneurs expressed eagerness to visit Bangladesh at the end of this year for exploring investment opportunities.
