Accused in 21 August grenade attack case on remand in another one
Hussain Ahmed Tamim, an accused in the August 21 grenade attack cases, was sent on a seven-day remand in a case filed against him for making an attempt to create subversive activities in Dhaka Central Jail.
A Dhaka court passed the order after Sub-inspector Sadequl Islam, also the investigation officer of the case, produced Tamim before it with a 10-day remand prayer.
Earlier on March 29, Chawkbazar police filed a case against Tamim and one of his relatives for their alleged attemted subversive activities in the makeshift courtroom where the trial of the two grenade attack cases is going on and the central jail.
On March 24, Tamim was carrying a court file which had a Samsung mobile handset, four SIM cards, a magnet, and a radio set. The police inspector seized the items when Tamim was getting out of a prison van in front of the court.
