Grameenphone shares '#theirkhushi' with customers
Grameenphone Ltd. has launched a special '#theirkhushi' campaign to share the spirit of the holy Ramadan and happiness of Eid-ul-fitr with people across the country. Under this campaign, Grameenphone will collect used Internet-enabled handsets from valued customers and other entities and donate them among underprivileged people of the country through BRAC, the largest developmental organization in the world. A MoU has been signed today between the organizations in this regard at GPHouse. Through this campaign customers are encouraged to donate their old or unused internet enabled handsets to all Grameenphone Centers across the country. Grameenphone will refurbish the devices and hand them over to development partner BRAC. Subsequently, the mobile phones will be gifted to young, aspiring entrepreneurs or community role models with one year free internet subscription. The campaign will be initiated with 500 handsets donated by Grameenphone.
