BNP's Aman, Sohel sued in 2 violence cases
Two cases have been filed against at least 15 leaders and activists of the BNP including top leaders Amanullah Aman and Habibun-un-Nabi Sohel accusing them of subversive activities.
The two cases were filed with Mohammadpur Police Station yesterday, said Azizul Haque, officer-in-charge of the police station. "15 BNP men have been charged with subversive activities during the hartal and blockade of the BNP-led 20-party alliance."
Among the 15 sued were Amanullah Aman, BNP joint secretary general, and Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, member secretary of the party's Dhaka metropolitan unit.
Further detail in this regard was awaited.
