BNP holds programme at Nayapaltan nearly after 2 months
BNP held a programme at its central office in capital’s Nayapaltan today after one and half month.
The party arranged Milad mahfil (a special prayer) on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the day of birth of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) in the afternoon.
Some hundred leaders and activists attended the religious programme at the ground floor the office, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
A huge number of police cordoned the office at that time, but the law enforcers did not made any barrier to the party activists to attend the programme.
BNP standing comitee member RA Goni, BNP chairperson’s advisor Shahjahan Omar joined the programme among the leaders.
This was the first programme after police arrested Ruhul Kabir Rizvi from the office around one and half month ago.
