BNP criticises MPs' outcry for Khaleda arrest demand
BNP today pulled up the lawmakers of the parliament for their outrage last night at the House demanding arrest party Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Referring to yesterday’s parliament session, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP’s joint secretary general alleged that the entire state was made partisan “only to arrest” Khaleda Zia.
“The lawmakers were seen in the parliament with an overwhelming sense of outrage to arrest our party chief Khaleda Zia,” Rizvi said in a press statement issued today.
“It seems that the house has been turned into a club where the lawmakers are attacking Khaleda Zia with abusive worlds,” he added.
“One party government, parliament, judiciary and administration have been established only to plan to arrest BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia a success,” Rizvi alleged.
“The prime minister is sensing her skin burn seeing the huge popularity of BNP-led 20-party alliance Chief Khaleda Zia. And that is why they all want our party chief arrested, he said.
“The people are the owner of the state and justice also and Awami League party men have forgotten this. They will have to pay one day,” he added.
