BNM's exhibition on Humayun Ahmed
A fortnight-long exhibition featuring books, manuscripts, letters, paintings and memorabilia of popular litterateur-filmmaker Humayun Ahmed is on at Bangladesh National Museum (BNM). Dr. Gowher Rizvi, advisor to the prime minister, inaugurated the exhibition yesterday as chief guest at Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the museum. Asaduzzaman Noor, Cultural Affairs Minister, presided over the inaugural programme. BNM has organised the exhibition.
Channel i to hold Humayun Mela today
Channel i is holding a daylong Humayun Mela today at the Channel i premises marking legendary litterateur Humayun Ahmed's birth anniversary. The fair will include music performances, recitation, dance, interview, painting, discussion in memory of Ahmed and staging of play. The channel will air the fair live 11am to 2pm.
