bKash agent shot, Tk 4 lakh mugged in capital
Muggers shot a sales representative of bKash and snatched Tk 4 lakhs at Rampura in the capital this noon.
Victim Kazi Ramzan, 35, is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
A group of armed muggers waylaid Ramzan when he was going to deposit around Tk 4 lakhs to a Brac Bank branch in the area this noon, said Mostafizur Rahman, a sub-inspector (operation) of Rampura Police Station.
The snatchers shot at Ramzan and snatched the money leaving him critically injured, the SI said.
Ramzan is son of Kazi Amir Hossain of Kazibari in Khilgaon area of the capital.
