The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse dipped on Tuesday, shrugging off the upward trend of the last few days.
DSEX, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed 1.24 points to reach 4082 points at closing of the day’s trading.
Of the issues traded, 133 advanced, 132 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
A total of 131,858 trades were executed with Tk 706 crore changing hands.
On Monday, the trading at DSE reached 4083 points after gaining 50 points.
