Director: Shah Md. Shongram
Producer: Mosharraf Hossain
Writer: Late Shochin Kumar Nag
Cast: Bappy, Achol, Bobita
Catchy tunes and dance numbers
Weakness: Predictable movie plot and action stunts
‘Ki Prem Dekhaila’ is one of the four movies to hit the cinemas this Eid. Sami (played by Bappy) is the leading actor who comes from a not so well-off family and falls in love with Nila (played by Achol), the daughter of a moneyed business tycoon in town. Achol’s parents do not approve of their relationship but Sami goes against all odds and takes on the perilous mission to be with the girl of his dreams.
While most cinema halls are struggling to draw audiences back into theatres, the cliché-ridden storyline of the action/thriller laced with romance, ‘Ki Prem Dekhaila’, doesn’t do much to contribute to the cause. Why would anyone want to watch a movie with a plot that’s been done to death? However, on the flipside, Music Directors Shouquat Ali Imon and Ali Akram Shubho and choreographer Masum Babul have done a good job. The action stunts were unrealistic and nothing out of the ordinary. Ten minutes into the movie and one should be able to figure out what’s going to come next.
